{"id":3322,"date":"2018-11-09T23:14:23","date_gmt":"2018-11-09T22:14:23","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/pdosdbann.org\/?p=3322"},"modified":"2018-11-09T23:14:23","modified_gmt":"2018-11-09T22:14:23","slug":"dacum-training","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/pdosdbann.org\/?p=3322","title":{"rendered":"DACUM Training"},"content":{"rendered":"<p align=\"justify\">\n<span style=\"color: #000000;\">The DACUM workshop followed shortly after the capacity building training, with the aim of developing a curriculum for training and development of potential technical instructor jobs.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">This process involves local professionals with a reputation for being the \u201ctop performers\u201d on their jobs, working on a short-term committee assignment with a facilitator.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">This panel of professionals identifies the general knowledge and skills required of successful workers, the tools, equipment, supplies, and materials, the important worker behaviour essential for success, and the future trends and concerns likely to cause job changes.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">We also conducted detailed job analysis on the position of instructor, defined the roles, duties and tasks of a competent technical instructor.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">One main benefit of this training is that Instructors can now describe their job in a concise way and are able to demonstrate understanding of the necessary tasks and duties that instructors must have.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">The training sessions were facilitated by Mrs Eniola Adefioye, Local Expert in Tech Education and CEO of Tributary Initiative for Learning and other Subject Matter Experts (SMEs).<\/span><\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-3330\" src=\"http:\/\/pdosdbann.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/12\/Facilitator-on-writing-pedagogical-objective.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"219\" height=\"164\" \/> <img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-medium wp-image-3331\" src=\"http:\/\/pdosdbann.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/12\/Facilitators-and-Trainees-at-the-CBA-Training-Training-1.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"262\" height=\"197\" \/><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The DACUM workshop followed shortly after the capacity building training, with the aim of developing a curriculum for training and<\/p>\n<p><span class=\"more-wrapper\"><a class=\"more-link button\" href=\"https:\/\/pdosdbann.org\/?p=3322\">Continue reading<\/a><\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"author":1,"featured_media":3330,"comment_status":"open","ping_status":"open","sticky":false,"template":"","format":"standard","meta":{"_jetpack_memberships_contains_paid_content":false,"footnotes":""},"categories":[7],"tags":[],"class_list":["post-3322","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","category-advanced-technical-vocational-skill-acquisition-institute"],"yoast_head":"<!-- This site is optimized with the Yoast SEO plugin v27.5 -
