<\/p>\nOn Wednesday, 22nd October 2025, the Planning and Development Office (PDO) of the Africa Nigeria-Niger (ANN) Province welcomed Fr. Eric Mairura from the Salesian Mission Office of the Generalate in Rome for an insightful and inspiring session.<\/p>\n
During the engagement, which took place at the conference room of the Provincial house in Iju, Fr. Mairura provided a clear and comprehensive explanation of the PDO\u2019s vital role within the Salesian Congregation, describing it as a strategic tool that supports the Provincial and his Council in fulfilling their mission.![\"\"](\"http:\/\/pdosdbann.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/11\/IMG_5138-300x225.jpg\")

He emphasised that the PDO\u2019s core responsibility extends beyond resource mobilisation. Instead, its primary function is to support the Provincial\u2019s strategic plan, policy development, and the creation of key governance documents, such as the Organic Provincial Plan.<\/p>\n
Fr.
