As the world marks World Water Day 2026<\/b>, the global call to ensure access to safe and clean water for all remains as urgent as ever. Water is not just a basic need\u2014it is a foundation for health, dignity, education, and sustainable development.<\/span><\/p>

At the Project Development Office (PDO) of the Don Bosco Development Initiative, this reality continues to guide our commitment to improving access to water, sanitation, and hygiene (WASH) in vulnerable communities across Nigeria.<\/span><\/p>

Providing Safe Water and Sanitation for Communities<\/b><\/span><\/p>

Through our WASH initiatives, the PDO has supported the development and upgrade of water and sanitation facilities in communities such as Onitsha in Anambra State and Tse-Mker in Benue State, with additional projects ongoing in other locations.<\/span><\/p>

These interventions are designed to create safer and more dignified environments, particularly for children and young people who rely on these facilities daily in schools and community centres.<\/span><\/p>
