The Projects and Development Office (PDO) of the Salesians of Don Bosco, ANN Province, through the P-TVET Office, successfully hosted a National Stakeholders Forum on Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) on Wednesday, 27 November 2025, in Awka, Anambra State.

With the theme “Strengthening Collaboration and Quality in TVET for Sustainable Development,” the one-day forum brought together key national actors — including representatives from government agencies, private sector organisations, industry experts, TVET providers, academia and student bodies.
This strategic gathering formed part of the ongoing Global Program Two (GP2) initiative, which seeks to enhance the quality and relevance of TVET systems across Nigeria. Discussions focused on improving cooperation, governance frameworks, and quality management standards while fostering a national community of practice committed to continuous improvement and stronger employability outcomes for young people.

Through shared experiences, expert insights, and sector-wide networking, participants explored new pathways to align skills development with labour market needs. The forum also served as an advocacy platform to promote unified action toward national policy improvements and sustainable TVET growth.
The PDO expressed profound gratitude to BMZ, Don Bosco Mondo, and DBTech Africa for their steadfast support in strengthening skills development and youth empowerment across Nigeria.

This collaboration marks another important step in ensuring that young people, especially the most vulnerable, have access to quality technical education, better employment prospects, and brighter futures.
