The Africa Environment Day 2021 was celebrated in our institute with the theme “PLANTING FOR THE FUTURE”. Major point of the day was the Tree planting exercise which was led by representatives from the Anambra State Leisure Park and Street Beautification Agency, Awka. A total of 14 trees were planted.
Guest speakers at the event were: Hon. Chief Obiajulu Nwoye {HOD, Research and Development Department, Anambra State Leisure Parks and Street Beautification Agency}. She spoke on the topic “ TREE PLANTING AS A MEANS OF SAFE GUARDING OUR ENVIRONMENT”. Prof. Anthony C. Okoye {Professor of Environmental Management, Nnamdi Azikiwe University, Awka}. He spoke on “PLANTING FOR THE FUTURE”.
