SUPPORTING ALLIANCE FOR AFRICAN MOBILITY

European Forum of Technical and Vocational Education Training (Efvet) through SUPPORTING ALLIANCE FOR AFRICAN MOBILITY (SAAM) hosted a seminar on Capacity Building for Leadership in Vocational Education Training between Africa and Europe.
It is the coming together of professionals in the selected Technical and Vocational Education Training (TVET) Centres in Africa and Some parts of Europe.
The seminar/workshop was held in Brussels, from the 14th -18th of February 2022. The next phase which is an exchange between Salesian TVET centres in Europe and Africa and Madagascar has started and it will be on for a month. It has in attendance 52 people from more than 20 countries.
The program/Seminars was to enlighten the participants on what will be the results gotten after the program, enlighten them of the possible outcomes of the exchange. The exchange program is to foster long lasting Partnerships between Africa and Europe.
Various speakers from prominent Technical centres spoke on the topics and held different workshops.
After the first week in Belgium, they were all paired into groups to visit various countries that have good and running TVET centres for them to experience what it feels like different from the TVET centres back in their home countries.
