JOB SERVICE OFFICERS (JSO) EXCHANGE
SALESIAN PROVINCIAL HOUSE, IJU LAGOS NIGERIA
After the Inauguration of the Province in March, the Provincial House played host to the Job Service Officers of the Province as they held their first JSO Exchange and Training for those who were just brought on-board. The program was facilitated by the P-TVET and has the P-JSO and three L-JSOs from Don Bosco TVET Centres of Abuja, Ondo and Onitsha in attendance. The Provincial Secretary was also in attendance as he represented the Provincial Council.
Some of the activities of the program were on events planning and execution with stakeholders involvement. Drafting of concept notes, ToRs and and budgets. Also the { SWOT – Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities, and Threats } Analysis of each of the TVET Centres was done.
Participants learnt about Tracer Study and the implementation of the INSERJEUNE tracer tool for tracking Graduates of Don Bosco TVET Centres to know their current employment and family situations.
Participants developed an action plan to be implemented in their various centres, proposals for planned events and they shared best practices.
