NETWORKING, PARTNERSHIP AND ADVOCACY BUILDING TRAINING
NAIROBI, KENYA
One of the pillars of Don Bosco Tech Africa is Networking. Through networking and advocacy people are able to build efficient and successful partnerships with different stakeholders.
To that effect Don Bosco Tech Africa has organized a training to enhance swift networking and partnerships among organizations, industries, and stakeholders who liaise to influence favorable policies to support TVET in the country and Africa in general.
The training is for Job Service Officers on Advocacy, Networking and Partnership Building.
Expectations from the training will be for participants to go back fully empowered with the right knowledge and skills to help build reliable networks and partnerships that will be of benefit to the young people. The training is enhance them and make them see the benefits of working together instead of working in Silos and reach out to possible stakeholders, organizations and industries.
The training is taking place in Nairobi, Kenya and has brought together Job Service Officers from Salesian Technical and Vocational Educational Training (TVET) Centres in Africa-Madagascar region. The training is facilitated by Zipporah Maina and Moses Kiambuthi both of the Centre for Urban Rural Youth Development Programmes (CURYDP).
