Bosco Home CPC Ibadan and Dominican Sisters Lead “Compassionate Walk 2025”

On Sunday, November 9, 2025, the Bosco Home Child Protection Centre (CPC) Ibadan, in collaboration with the Dominican Sisters of St. Catherine of Siena and parishioners, held the “Compassionate Walk 2025” — a public call to action reminding society of the power of kindness, empathy, and love.

The streets of Ibadan came alive as people, young and old,  came out in their numbers, holding placards with powerful messages such as “Compassion First and Always”, “Compassion Heals Before Medicine”.  The walk radiated joy, hope, unity, and a shared conviction that compassion must take precedence over judgment in our world today.

Participants from CPC Ibadan and St. Catherine of Siena Parish joined hands to rekindle the flame of compassion in their community, emphasising that empathy and love are not just noble virtues but vital necessities for the survival of humanity.

The event served as a beautiful reminder that small acts of kindness can transform lives and strengthen the bonds that unite us all.

Together, we walk for compassion — because love and empathy remain the true treasures that can change our world.
