Don Bosco Health Centre, Akure campaigns against COVID-19 virus.
Apart from routine checks, Don Bosco Health Centre has made it a point of duty to sensitize all patients visiting the clinic on COVID-19 virus, precautionary measures and what to do if one develops any symptoms.
Being a clinic at the heart of Akure, where majority of the inhabitants are low income earners, records of patients being tested on Malaria parasite, Widal Reaction (Typhoid), Fasting Blood Glucose, etc. reveal that the health Centre attends to more than 1,350 patients every month.
Don Bosco Health Centre is no doubt an important hub in the implementation of the ongoing sensitization program against COVID-19 virus by the Salesians of Don Bosco in conjunction with the Catholic Diocese of Ondo and the State Government.
