The entire Don Bosco Center Iju was beaming with excitement on Tuesday, 25th February 2025, as the Don Bosco Stitches exhibited her fashion runway, marking the completion of the three-month training program of the batch 10 cohort of the fashion institute.
Don Bosco Stitches is the fashion design arm of the skills acquisition initiative of the Salesians of Don Bosco ANN.

The runway exhibition, an activity embedded in the curriculum of Don Bosco Stitches right from its inception in November 2020, was held in Don Bosco Center, Iju. The exhibition unveiled a plethora of crafts and designs created by the 15 participants of the just-concluded Batch 10 cohort throughout their training. These designs gave insights into the quality of work, excellence and creativity instilled in the learners, enabling them to express their skills with so much confidence.
The participants walked the runway with a sense of confidence and pride in their ability to be successful fashion designers.

Present to witness the exhibition were the trainers, some guests and the entire members of the Don Bosco Center Iju. Everyone in attendance was wowed by what the participants were able to achieve within the training period and commended the Trainers for a job well done. Many of the attendees could not help but whip out their phones and take photos of the participants and their beautiful designs.
It’s a highly commendable initiative. Well done, Don Bosco Stiches.
