The Bosco Home, Ibadan, a Salesians of Don Bosco Child Protection Centre, joyfully welcomed Fr. Eric Mairura and Fr. Raphael Airoboman on Friday, 24th October 2025.
Fr. Mairura’s visit formed part of his tour across the province to assess ongoing Salesian works and better understand the challenges faced by each community. During his visit, he interacted warmly with the boys, staff, and caregivers, showing genuine concern and encouragement.
The Salesian mission at the Child Protection Centre (CPC), Ibadan, continues to embody the spirit of Don Bosco, reaching out to the poor, abandoned, and neglected children with love and hope. Through education, care, and guidance, the centre restores dignity and inspires a brighter future for every child under its care.
Fr. Mairura’s visit served as a strong reminder of the Salesian call to move beyond comfort zones to be beacons of light, compassion, and service wherever young people are in need.
