Today, Thursday, June 5th, at the Saletians Provincial House, Iju, we continue implementing the Skills Gap Analysis Workshop for Occupational Standards and Profiles in ten (10) selected skill areas.
This macro-level activity involves the National Board for Technical Education (NBTE) Kaduna, Council for the Regulation of Engineering in Nigeria (COREN), Nigerian Society of Engineers (NSE) and other Subject Matter Experts (SMEs). These stakeholders are reviewing and updating standard documents and data collection tools to ensure accuracy and relevance.
The ultimate goal is to develop a robust data collection tool that will help experts gather precise data that will later be analysed to identify gaps in Occupational Standards. Insights gained from this data will play a crucial role in improving the employability of young people and drive the growth and development of the Nigerian Economy.
