As part of the Salesians of Don Bosco’s Provincial Development Organism (PDO) capacity-building project, the PDO Team, led by Mr. Konneh and Mr. Rexon, has commenced an ongoing capacity-building workshop for post-Novices in Ibadan.

This five-day workshop, from Monday, 24th February to Friday, 28th February 2025, aimed to capacitate and equip the post-novice students with valuable knowledge and essential skills in project writing and Management. The program exposed the post-novices to the useful tools required to carry out tasks effectively. These skills and tools are necessary for leadership efficiency in their future roles as Salesian priests and brothers, leaders of the church, and agents of change for youths and young people.

The workshop equipped the students with various skills, including critical thinking, collaboration, problem-solving, adaptability, conflict resolution, communication skills, and some vocational skills, like fish farming.

This workshop engaged the students through hands-on activities and encouraged their active participation. It’s fulfilling to see the hunger for learning and enthusiasm on the part of the students, making the workshop a worthwhile venture.

By the end of this workshop, the drive and feedback from the post-novices confirmed the successful attainment of the goal to equip them with project writing and management skills.
