SALESIANS OF DON BOSCO IN NIGER REPUBLIC
Niamey, Niger Republic received the first Salesian missionaries.
Niamey is a city filled with Youthful exuberance overflowing with Life and hope. The missionaries had their first meeting with the Archbishop of Niamey, the Most Rev. Djalwana Laurent Lompo. The Archbishop thanked the Salesians for the spostolic generosity in accepting their invitation in 1987 and for coming at this time of the political unrest in the nation. He further urged the Salesians as the first act of kindness to listen to the people in tender love.
The First Salesian Missionaries in Niamey Niger are: Rev.Fr. Aurelien Juvencio Ahouangbe, Rev. Fr. JohnMary Uche Etunke, Dieudonnee Ilunga Muolongoy, Kenneth Tochukwu Odo (SDBs).
We pray for the Missionaries to gain favour always in the sight of the people of Niamey and Niger.
